Carson's Village
Carson's Village is designed to help families navigate the journey to healthy grieving after the loss of a loved one. Carson's Village connects you a live advocate who can provide your family with free support services such as assistance with making burial arrangements and coordinating funeral services, communicating with friends and family, and tracking gifts and donations. Carson's Village operates a resource library where you can find helpful answers to many questions about funeral planning. Free grief support groups are hosted on Zoom bimonthly- second Tuesday 8pm EST/7pm CST/5pm PST and last Wednesday 7pm EST/6pm CST/4pm PST.
Funerals Consumer Alliance
Funerals Consumer Alliance is a non-profit that offers advice and direction on affordable options and possibilities for burying your loved one. It has over 100 organizations involved.
DFS Memorials
Direction Cremation packages start at $995. DFS also partners with various funeral homes and cremation providers across the US to help find the price point most comfortable for each family in their time of need.
Everest Funeral Planning and Concierge
Everest Funeral Concierge works with life and health insurance companies (offered through aetna, Aflac, The Harford, IA American Life Insurance Company, Mutual of Omaha, Transamerica, Voya and Zurich) to simplify the funeral planning process and serve as an advocate on behalf of the policy holders and beneficiaries. With a team of highly-trained, knowledgeable advisors (all who are licensed funeral directors) available 24-7, Everest helps clients and their families make informed decisions about all funeral-related issues and then put those wishes into action with a funeral home of their choice. Through its agreements with several major life insurance providers, Everest offers insurance beneficiaries the advantage of accelerated payment of death benefits, receiving their life insurance proceeds in a matter of days, rather than weeks. At the time of death of your loved one (or as it comes near), your family contacts Everest and a senior advisor who is a licensed funeral director is assigned to the family to provide 24-hour assistance throughout the funeral process. Toll-free phone conferences can be scheduled for geographically dispersed family members who want to participate in the funeral planning process. A personalized funeral plan is confirmed if the client has made plans in advance. If the client has not made plans, Everest Funeral Concierge will help the family create a personalized funeral plan.
Addiction Center
Addiction Center operates as a guide for either those experience substance misuse, or those who have someone they love experiencing substance misuse. Their website talks through different types of treatment and has a database of treatment centers across the US, the levels of care they offer, and the payment options available for each center. Before a treatment provider may become a partner treatment provider, the treatment provider goes through a vetting process in an attempt to determine whether such treatment provider is a licensed provider performing addiction recovery services for patients. Addiction Center's process includes the treatment provider completing a standardized survey, hosting an on-site visit from our staff or contractors, and/or providing proof of licensure.
New Season Treatment Centers
New Season has been a leading provider of care for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) since 1986, with more than 80 addiction treatment centers in 20 states nationwide. In addition to providing customized therapeutic programs and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs to patients, they also work to support the education and understanding of opioid addiction as a disease that can be addressed with treatment services. New Season takes a comprehensive approach to addressing addictive illness, ensuring that patients are provided with the proper tools to succeed in their recovery. New Season accepts Medicare, Medicaid, 3rd party insurance, as well as self-pay. Average cost is $12-30 a day, depending on location and medication.
Herren Project
Herren Project offers a financial assistance scholarship in the form of rent for a sober housing situation. For up to seven weeks of assistance (100% coverage for weeks 1-4, 75% for week 5, 50% for week 6, and 25% for week 7). Maximum rent is $225 a week and intake fees are not covered. Candidates must be in an addiction treatment program and be referred by a case manager or counselor. Case managers should reach out on behalf of their client. Candidates and case managers are required to submit personal statements as to why their client deserves a scholarship and how it will support their recovery goals.
LifeRing Secular Recovery
Recovery organization that includes people who share practical experiences and sobriety support. LifeRing does not operate on a 12-step model and works with clients to help them develop their own personal recovery program. They offer online meetings 7 days a week that are completely free to everyone.
Live Another Day
Live Another Day - features culturally competent resources for people of color and an editorially curated list of the top-rated rehab centers in the US, or by your specific state, should you select it. This resources lists the top treatment centers based on online reviews and accreditations, and provides extensive information for people of color and their allies.
Sober Living America
Nonprofit organization that offers wrap around services to those struggling with substance misuse. Their services include: housing, transportation, career development, and recovery education.
Alcoholics Anonymous
AA is an international fellowship of those who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem.
SMART Recovery
SMART Recovery (Self-Management And Recovery Training) sponsors face-to-face meetings around the world and daily online meanings to help individuals overcome addictions or harmful habits by empowering them to customize their recovery based on what works for them.
Al-Anon
Al-Anon is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking. By sharing common experiences and applying the Al-Anon principles, families and friends of alcoholics can bring positive changes to their individual situations, whether or not the alcoholic admits the existence of a drinking problem or seeks help.
Work Wiser
Work Wiser provides preventative, evidence-based mental health training and assessment for hospitality teams. Work Wiser’s trainings are live (in-person or via Zoom) and interactive, teaching practical tools covering the following topics: 1) Mindfulness, 2) Stress Management, 3) Work-Life Balance, and 4) Communication. This unique team-based approach provides your full staff with knowledge, language and skills to combat mental health stigma, address mental health challenges before they escalate, and shift the mental health culture of your workplace. In addition to training, Work Wiser offers Mental Health Culture Assessments for employers to better understand the mental health needs of their staff and to identify potential points of intervention. Call Blackline
Call Blackline provides a space for peer support, counseling, reporting of mistreatment, witnessing and affirming the lived experiences for folks who are most impacted by systematic oppression with an LGBTQIA+ Black Femme Lens. Call Blackline prioritizes Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. You can call or text this phone line for assistance.
Trans Lifeline
Trans Lifeline's Hotline is a peer support phone service run by trans people for trans and questioning peers. This hotline operates 24/7 - occasionally call volume will be high and there may be a delay in connection; try to call again. This lifeline offers full anonymity and confidentiality, and does not call 911, emergency services, or law enforcement without your consent.
The LGBT National Hotline
A hotline run by the LGBT National Help Center, the LGBT Hotline is available 24/7 and staffed with highly trained and dedicated LGBTQIA+ volunteers who provide free and confidential services. They offer support, information, and local resources through the US, and never report your calls to any outside organization or authority. Additionally, they offer an LGBT Online Peer Support Chat.
The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project's mission is to end suicide among LGBT young people. Their hotline and text line offer immediate support and connection to a crisis counselor 24 hours a day, 7 days a year. It's 100% confidential, and 100% free.
Open Path Psychotherapy Collective
This nonprofit serves clients who are uninsured or underinsured across the US. They require a $65 membership fee (once in a lifetime) and then offer sessions with a therapist of your choosing for $40-$70 a session. Sessions can be held in person or online. This resource is for anyone that has an annual household income of less than $100,000. Hope Recovery
Free, online faith-based support groups for adult survivors of abuse and sexual trauma. The groups are all conducted via Zoom, and camera participation is required on all calls. Note that these support groups are meant to complement (not replace) professional treatment. Please read all disclosures prior to completing registrations for support groups. Must be 18 years or older to join.
Center for Mindfulness and Compassion
The Center for Mindfulness and Compassion, based at Cambridge Health Alliance, is offering free online community practice sessions on mindfulness meditation daily. Spring Hill Recovery
Spring Hill Recovery Center provides residential treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues through a variety of programs: detox, inpatient rehabilitation, standard outpatient, intensive outpatient, and/or partial hospitalization treatment, medication assisted treatment (MAT), group therapy, individual therapy, and peer support groups. Spring Hill Recovery accepts most major private insurances as well as self-pay.

RehabSpot
A website that has resources to determine the cost or rehab, a rehab facility in your area, treatments that would work best for you, as well as resources for both inpatient and outpatient programs.
Psychology Today
You can use this as a search engine to find psychiatrists/therapists near you. Start by selecting your city or zip code, and clicking enter. Once the results populate, you can filter based on "Price" - select Sliding Scale. It will refine the results to only those therapists or psychiatrists that offer services on a Sliding Scale. They also typically specify if they have a waitlist for new clients.
Heard Online
Heard Online brings mental health, wellness, and education support to a weekly national platform via Zoom. Their national weekly support group meetings will be an open conversation about mental health, wellness, and recovery in the food & beverage service industry. Peer2Peer Warm Line
Hotline that provides access to peer support 24/7 along with resources for other avenues of treatment for folks who live with chronic behavioral health conditions (like depression or anxiety), experiencing life's challenges like grief or unemployment, have limited mobility but want to remain connected to others, and those recovering from trauma in need of support.
The Cook's Collective
The Cook’s Collective empowers cooks and service workers in the food and beverage industry to drive measurable impact for better emotional well-being through policy advocacy, peer-to-peer training, industry education, and providing access to a network of mental health solutions.
Culinary Hospitality Outreach Wellness
CHOW group discussions are open to all – chef, servers, bussers, bartenders, owners, suppliers, farmers, writers, dishwashers, and industry veterans. Virtual meetings can be accessed from any location, please be aware of the time zones listed. Their meetings have a topic or theme to consider and discuss. They begin with an ice breaker question, so we can get to know each other better, and move into a conversation about shared experiences. CHOW has an “EXPO” (who is a person who has walked the path of recovery from mental illness/substance use disorder and is trained to assist others in their recovery) in each meeting who can guide the conversation. Sharing is voluntary and sobriety is not required.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
A source for every aspect of the immigration process. You can check your immigration status, explore options, use online tools, apply for your green card, or get you connected to someone who can assist. Various language services are offered as well.
American Bar Association's Free Legal Answers
The American Bar Association's Free Legal Answers program is a virtual legal advice clinic in which qualifying users post civil legal questions at no cost to be answered by pro bono attorneys licensed in their state. Question topics can include family law, divorce, custody, housing, eviction, homelessness, consumer rights, finance, employment and unemployment, health and disability, income maintenance, and juvenile and education law. Most states are included in this program. Note that their volunteer lawyers cannot call you or represent you in court.

OneApp Guarantee
OneApp Guarantee - https://oneappguarantee.com/faq - (503) 558-6319 - OneApp Guarantee is a company that acts as a cosigner for those seeking rental housing but struggle to gain approvals because of income, credit scores, or previous evictions. How to apply: Client's can go online and search by state through their participating properties. Once they have found a property they are interested in they can apply and then clients pay a one-time co-sign fee in the amount of one months rent to OneApp so they will guarantee the lease. (If a client has already found a property that is not listed in OneApp- the company can work to try and get them into their system). Clients can also negotiate a monthly payment plan to pay the one-time fee. OneApp co-signs for one twelve month lease. If a client wants to renew a lease using OneApp again, they must reapply.
The Modest Needs Mission
Modest Needs exists to responsibly provide short-term financial assistance to individuals and families in temporary crisis through their Self Sufficiency Grants and Homecoming Heroes Grant. They make Self-Sufficiency Grants in an effort to assist individuals and families who are ineligible for most types of conventional social assistance. Homecoming Heroes Grant is a special program designed to prevent veterans from slipping into poverty as they work to make the difficult transition from overseas deployment to civilian life.

Second Chance Apartments
Second Chance Apartments offers resources needed when searching for second chance apartments willing to accept broken leases, bad credit, evictions, felonies, and misdemeanors. To get started, visit their website and select the city in which you are wanting to locate a second chance apartment.
Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America’s Home Save Program
As a result of NACA’s advocacy and state-of-the-art operations, they have legally binding agreements with all the major lenders/providers and investors (i.e. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) covering approximately 90% of homeowners to achieve an affordable solution. You should not pay anyone to achieve your affordable mortgage payment. All of NACA’s services are free. NACA has assisted over a quarter-of-a-million homeowners achieve affordable solutions nationwide. Free. The primary NACA solution is to restructure the mortgage by permanently reducing the interest rate to as low and 2% and sometimes reduce the outstanding principal saving hundreds and sometimes over a $1,000 a month. Esusu Rent Relief Fund
Esusu has partnered with Stable Home Fund, a 501(c)(3) public charity organization, to provide 0% interest rent relief loans to keep renters in their homes as they navigate economic shocks and periods of financial distress. The goal of rent relief is to help renters avoid eviction. The program is targeted for responsible renters who have hit a temporary hurdle resulting in past-due rent, and need a helping hand to get back to financial stability. Eligibility requirements include: client resides in a property that works with Esusu, you owe less than $5,000 in rent, you are not behind by more than three months' rent, you are not currently in the eviction process.
Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Faith-based organization that offers various services including food assistance, rent and utility assistance, and financial counseling. Services vary based on location. Contact your local Catholic church to see if they have a chapter or visit their website.
LIHEAP
Nationwide resource that assists low-income individuals by covering their energy bill costs. Application process will vary by county, so visit the national website for more information.
Bottleshare
Offers grants to both businesses and individuals employed in a brewery, winery, or distillery. They are currently offering micro-grants of up to $1,500, and serve the entire US. The first step of their application is online.
Restaurant Workers Community Foundation
Supplying individual restaurant workers financial relief, as well as zero interest loans for restaurants to get back up and running. Directions to apply are on their website – submit an application through their financial assistance partner, who is processing applications for them.
Social Serve
Socialserve is a nonprofit, bilingual call center that connects people to housing and provides supportive, second chance employment. This agency provides professional housing location and listing services across the United States through their partnership with Emphasys Software. This organization also assist displaced households in finding new housing, offer waiting list opening support, and gather housing data on behalf of many organizations across the country.
One Fair Wage Foundation
One Fair Wage is providing cash assistance to restaurant workers, car service drivers, delivery workers, personal service workers and more. PayPal account requested and OFW instructs applicants to apply ONLY ONCE to prevent delays in processing.
HealthWell Foundation
Providing financial assistance to those needing medical services that they cannot afford. When health insurance is not enough, they fill the gap by assisting with copays, premiums, deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses.
Fifth Season Financial
Helps provide financial assistance to families in crisis due to medical bills/procedures. Must have a life insurance policy to apply.
Fannie Mae
Provide access to reliable, affordable mortgage financing in all markets at all times.
National Foundation for Credit Counseling
NFCC member agencies provide financial reviews and education to more than a million consumers each year in person, over the phone, or online. Every NFCC member agency client receives comprehensive money management services based on their individual needs.
Oracle Health Foundation
Oracle Health Foundation - https://www.oraclehealthfoundation.org/pediatric-grants - Oracle Health Foundation offers pediatric grants help connect children to necessary care when financial limitations present obstacles. Criteria for grants: The child must be 18 years of age or younger (a person 19–21 may be considered if they are in a child-like mental state). The child must be under the care of a physician. The request must be clinically relevant to a specific healthcare need of the child. There must be no existing insurance coverage for the requested expenses. One request per 12 months, per child for a maximum of three times in a child’s lifetime. Expenses covered by grants: Lodging (only if related to child's care) Gas, parking, and transportation related to a child's care, Clinical procedures, medicine, therapy, evaluations, service dogs, etc. Wheelchairs, assistive technology equipment, prostheses, care devices, hearing aids, etc., and vehicle modifications such as lifts, ramps, and transfer boards. Client's can apply online and application must be completed by the final Wednesday of the month. Application steps: A case manager will review the submitted application and supporting documents and reach out if there is additional information needed. Oracle Health Foundation's Clinical Decision Committee meets once every month (typically the first week of each month) to review submitted applications. If approved, Oracle Health Foundation will send funding to the provider (not the family) within one week of approval. Funds must be used within 12 months of the date granted.
Family Reach Foundation
Family Reach Foundation assists patients with children with living expenses during treatment. In order to qualify, a patient must be within one year of active treatment, must have a child or young adult impacted, and must be represented by a healthcare professional (ie – your social worker) who can verify your medical information and your family’s financial need. While their general funding and multiple myeloma funding are currently unavailable, there are funds available for Florida residents and for those diagnosed with cervical cancer. Typically, the financial award is up to $1,000.

Image Clear Ultrasound is a nationwide provider that offers free pregnancy tests, prenatal ultrasounds, options consultation and community referrals. Locations are available in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas. Lemonaid Health
Lemonaid Health is a national telehealth platform that offers ongoing, personalized primary care treatment that includes several chronic illnesses, women's health, men's health, labs and screenings, and preventative care. Fees include a monthly membership rate of $99 for a single person plan (there are no additional fees or co-pays) or $178 a month for your family. You can cancel any time in the first 30 days. Please read the full list of services at the link above to see if the coverage is suitable for you. Lemonaid Health also offers ongoing, personalized treatment for depression with anti-depressants delivered monthly. First month of services is $25, and is $95 a month after. Their program includes monthly online visit, personalized depression treatment plan, FDA-approved medication shipped to your door (current offerings include Lexapro, Zoloft, Wellbutrin, and Prozac), ability to message their medical team whenever you want, and the ability to cancel anytime. While this program help create access to mental health medication for many folks, there is a list of those this program will not serve, including those that are experiencing suicidal ideation, have attempted suicide, have been diagnosed with psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or HIV, are pregnant / breastfeeding, or if a patient needs time off work and needs to claim disability while they are out. Cost Plus Drugs
An online pharmacy that was started to provide affordable medication to everyone. The cost of medication is set by adding a 15% upcharge and a $3 pharmacy fee. Medications average around 1/3 of the price of traditional pharmacies.
Lilly Diabetes Solution Center
Lilly is committed to helping people with diabetes access affordable medicines. Anyone who is uninsured or enrolled in commercial insurance is eligible to buy their monthly prescription of Lilly insulin for $35 – regardless of the number of pens or vials.
CancerCare Financial and Co-Pay Assistance Foundation
This organization helps people with cancer overcome financial access and treatment barriers by assisting them with financial assistance and/or their co-payments for their prescribed treatments. While your diagnosis may not currently have available assistance, they update the list often, so check back frequently to see when your particular diagnosis might be available to apply. Their eligibility requirements are: you must have a diagnosis of cancer confirmed by an oncology health care provider; be in treatment for your cancer; live in the U.S. or Puerto Rico; meeting eligibility guidelines based on the federal poverty limit. Call 800-813-4673 and speak with a CancerCare social worker to complete a brief interview. They can be reached from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. (ET) Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m.–5 p.m. (ET) on Friday.
Family Reach Foundation
Dedicated to removing the financial barriers standing between a cancer patient and their treatment. Loss of income, out-of-pocket expenses, and socioeconomic factors create disparities in the financial burdens families face. Family Reach delivers financial education, financial planning, resource navigation, and emergency relief funds to patients and caregivers facing a cancer diagnosis so no family has to choose between their health and their home.
KHealth
Digital / telehealth primary care as low as $9 a month – with referrals to specialists if needed. 24 hour access, no limit on questions you can ask, also free to use. Symptom screeners help clients decide whether speaking with a doctor is necessary AHEAD of time, and if connected to a doctor, they are linked to a physician within $19. Client can then text with their doctor up to two weeks for no additional charge.

Cancer Financial Assistance Coalition

An organization that centers itself around cancer research, support services, and education. ACA encourages cancer prevention through healthier lifestyles, connects you to accessible care, and provides support. ACA offers online support groups and a vast resource library for those in search of cancer related resources.
Patients Advocate Foundation
Assistance with accessing insurance and healthcare. Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) is a national 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization which provides case management services and financial aid to Americans with chronic, life threatening and debilitating illnesses. Their case managers advocate and mediate on behalf of patients to provide avenues of access for therapies, therapeutic agents and devices deemed medically efficacious by the medical and scientific communities while working to find sources of reimbursement to pay for care.
NeedyMeds
NeedyMeds, a 501(c)(3) national non-profit, achieves its mission by providing information on healthcare programs, offering direct assistance and facilitating programs.
Colette Louis Tisdahl Foundation
The Colette Louis Tisdahl Foundation offer emergency assistance for families experiencing pregnancy complications, NICU hospitalizations, and loss of a baby due to miscarriage, stillborn, or as an infant. The foundation can assist with transportation costs, phone bills, utilities, rent/mortgage, car payments, car insurance, and burial/cremation costs. Clients can apply online and applications are reviewed once a week. Applications that are reviewed are ones that are completed by Friday at 5PM CST. Accepted documentation that serves as verification: 1.A healthcare provider verification form submitted online on their website at www.colettelouise.com that is appropriately filled out by the third party with complete name, title, and contact information 2.A healthcare provider writing a letter on the appropriate letterhead and emailing said letter directly to them at michelle@colettelouise.com. The email must come from whoever wrote the letter and it must be from their official work email and include their full name and contact information in either the letter or the email. 3. In cases of loss, documentation submitted or sent from either healthcare provider or parent applying that is official government or hospital paperwork. This may include a death certificate, the official paperwork that hospital completes for a death, or a detailed medical write up (not discharge paperwork) that shows the logo and contact information for the hospital or doctor as well as contact information for follow up.

There are four main components to the program: developing a recovery plan, applying for FEMA aid and insurance payments, monthly support from your recovery specialist, and continuing education. Project Porchlight is available to anyone in the United States that has been impact by a natural disaster. Client's can call their number to speak with a counselor or request an appointment online.
mRelief
mRelief is an online platform that assists people nationwide in applying for SNAP benefits. Clients can visit their website, complete a short questionnaire to see if they qualify and if deemed eligible mRelief shows clients the best way to apply. In some states, they offer a simplified application and the option to apply with assistance over the phone with a trusted community partner.
HomelessShelter.Pet
HomelessShelter.Pet is the internet's largest user-contributed database of homeless shelters for people that offer accommodations for their pets, too. Currently, the states that have a shelter listed that supports pets are: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington.
Bianca's Kids
Bianca’s Kids grants wishes to children who are struggling due to mental, physical, emotional or financial issues and who are 18 years of age or younger. A wish recipient DOES NOT have to be a foster child. Before submitting your wish, please be aware that you are certifying that all of the information you are providing Bianca’s Kids is true. Also, if you are not a family member of the wish recipient, it is important to gain permission from a parent or guardian of the child before you submit a wish on their behalf as all photos/information submitted to Bianca’s Kids from your wish will be made public if your wish is chosen to be granted.

Supportive Services for Veterans
The Veterans Inc. Supportive Services for Veterans (SSVF) and Veteran Families Program helps individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of experiencing homelessness. SSVF assists with healthcare referrals, budgeting and money management, benefits assistance and advocacy, housing counseling and assistance, and offers financial assistance for rent, utilities, moving expenses, security deposits, transportation, childcare, emergency supplies and legal services. To qualify, an individual must be a veteran, or a veteran family, low income (that does not exceed 50% of your area's median income), and occupy permanent housing (whether you are permanently housed and trying to avoid eviction, or are experiencing homelessness but are scheduled to move into permanent housing within 90 days).
CoAbode
Organization that connects single moms with one-another to share resources and support. CoAbode offers a home sharing program where single mothers in need of housing can connect with each other and potentially find a shared place to live. Also has support groups for single mothers called "Friend Circles" operating across the country and hosted by CoAbode Facilitators.
The Warrior Alliance
The Warrior Alliance assists veterans by connecting them to Veteran Service Organizations, government agencies, businesses, educators, and other community resources to help them through their transition decisions.
Salvation Army
Faith-based, nationwide organization that provides various financial and social services to families in need. Assistance includes food pantries, disaster relief, and more.
Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation
Seeking to support the families of children with autism. They have a variety of programs usually in the form of financial assistance. There are also online resources for parents whose children have been diagnosed with autism.

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children - better known as the WIC program - serves to safeguard the health of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating including breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals to health care.
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
A federally-funded program that provides monthly benefits to low-income households to help pay for the cost of food. Red Rover
RedRover staff and volunteers provide urgent care grants, temporary emergency sheltering, resources, financial assistance and emotional support when animals and people are in crisis. They are preserving the human-animal bond by providing financial assistance, resources and support to low-income individuals and survivors of domestic violence and their pets, so families can escape abuse together and stay together.
ECHO Florida
ECHO provides for people experiencing crisis to help them move to long-term stability. This starts with emergency provisions of food and clothing to alleviate the immediate needs. For those who need deeper assistance, ECHO has a team of advocates who will work side by side with those in need to help them navigate the process of getting financial assistance, getting into shelters, applying for affordable childcare, or anything else that they need to get ready for work. Finally, their Opportunity Center works to help you navigate getting meaningful employment. From skills assessments and writing a resume through the job search and interview process, and all the way through the first years of your new job, ECHO's job coaches work with you to make sure you have the support and help you need to get on your feet and stay on your feet. To qualify for services through ECHO, you must reside within their service area. This is limited to the following zip codes: 33510, 33511, 33527, 33584, 33592, 33594, 33596, 33610, 33534, 33547, 33569, 33570, 33572, 33573, 33578, 33579, 33619. ECHO does not require proof of need, but you will need to bring your current photo ID, original social security cards for each family member receiving assistance, and current proof of address. In an effort to serve as many people as possible and to not enable helplessness, ECHO asks for those in need to only access their food pantry in emergency situations, up to three times a year. ECHO also offers holiday assistance with hot Thanksgiving meals for those residing in motels, hotels, and RV parks, and Gift of Hope outreach, which has a sign-up that begins in October. Additionally, their emergency assistance includes seven outfits, two pairs of shoes, and for children, two new pairs of socks and underwear or diapers in addition to food assistance.

As a child hunger organization, ending childhood hunger is their primary focus. They provide programs such as school breakfast, summer meals, after-school meals, food skills education, research and policy, and advocacy.
